Kelly received an M.F.A. In Dance and Certificate in World Performance Studies from the University of Michigan in 2019. In 2000, a Fulbright scholarship took her to the Netherlands where she remained for 17 years. While there, Kelly worked with many different choreographers such as; Emio Greco & Pieter C. Scholten (EG|PC), Krisztina de Chatel, Suzy Blok, Liat Waysbort and Dylan Newcomb. Kelly also worked in mime/theater onstage with Jakop Ahlbom and Compagnietheater (Theu Boermans) and in films with directors such as Arno Dierickx and Noud Heerkens. Alongside her dance career she completed an acting program at the Atlantic Theatre School in New York City.

Kelly has completed her Double Skin/Double Mind  (DS/DM) Teacher Training, a method created by Emio Greco and Pieter C. Scholten, in 2017 after four years of intensive work within ICKamsterdam. Beyond dance, Kelly is also a fully certified Pilates and Vinyasa Yoga instructor. Kelly enjoys creating an extremely physical experience for her students while also encouraging them to take the practice deeper beyond the physical, a training that is both concentrated and joyous. Kelly incorporates her interest in education and psychology while working with clients and students to achieve goals while working in a positively charged environment.

She has recently returned to The Netherlands where she teaches pilates and yoga at various studios. Kelly also teaches DS/DM to dancers of ICKamsterdam, Amsterdam University of the Arts and the community. She is currently working closely with EG|PC as rehearsal director the project Hoe ik Talent voor mijn leven kreeg, which will tour The Netherlands in 2020.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys running, hanging out on the beach, reading, meeting up with friends, and spending time with her fiancé Blake and their Labrador Fiona.
