Peabody Institute and Johns Hopkins University students—Kayla DeLise (B.F.A. Dance, expected ’26), Micah Shapiro (B.F.A. Dance, Minor in Art History ’25), Maire-Amelle Thenoz (B.F.A. Dance and Cognitive Science ’25), and A.J. Winegar (B.F.A. Dance and Earth & Planetary Sciences ’25)—reflect on how the integration of science into the dance studio and dance into the kinesiology classroom has transformed both their movement practices and their understanding of their own bodies.
